Electronic Edge Vintage Keys order requirements for pianos in inventory that are not yet ready for sale:
   To purchase a piano that is not yet ready we will require a 25% deposit.
   If the sale is cancelled 25% of the deposit is non-refundable.
   A completion date will be estimated, it will depend on the amount of work the piano requires and how much other work is pending.
   The finished instrument will be ready for pickup after payment is received in full, which may be at the time of pickup.
   • Personal pickup is required so the customer can try the instrument and be satisfied before its departure from our premises.
   If shipping is absolutely necessary a quality ATA road case is required and the customer must make the shipping arrangements and take full responsibility for any shipping problems.
PURCHASE FROM COMPLETED INVENTORY:
The instrument will be ready for pickup after payment is received in full.
    • Personal pickup is required so the customer can try the instrument and be satisfied before its departure from our premises.
   If shipping is absolutely necessary a quality ATA road case is required and the customer must make the shipping arrangements and take full responsibility for any shipping problems.
Adjustments to a purchased instrument, if deemed necessary, will be negotiated. Many minor issues can be worked out by phone or email.
   Returns are highly unlikely as great customer satisfaction is our goal and we will work to resolve any problem. However if an item is to be returned, arrangements for getting it back to us must be finalized no later than 7 days after taking delivery, with a timely delivery back to us (timely to be defined at our discretion, generally within an additional 7 days), and delivered in person or with insured return shipping in a quality ATA road case at the buyer’s expense, plus a 10% restocking fee. (Buyer's road case can be returned in this instance.)
   The item will also be subject to inspection which may effect the refunded amount. The restocking fee will increase to 20% if arrangements to return the item exceeds 7 days after taking delivery of the item. After 30 days from taking delivery of an item, the item may not be returned.
Other conditions may apply.
 
 
IF WE WILL BE SERVICING YOUR KEYBOARD:
You will personally deliver the intrument or have it shipped to us in a quality ATA road case. (If shipping here but planning a personal pickup, then a road case is not necessary, though still recommended.)
   No deposit is required but if you are requesting special parts such as a preamp then prepayment for parts and/or materials may be required.
   An estimate will be given for time and parts cost but this will vary depending on the condition. The condition is not always what it may appear. We will provide the best possible estimates and advise on any developments that will make a big difference.
   
We can do complete overhauls or minor ones, depending on your budget and/or needs.
The finished instrument will be ready for pickup after payment for parts and labor is received in full, which may be at the time of pickup.

   If shipping is absolutely necessary a quality ATA road case is required and the customer must make the shipping arrangements and take full responsibility for any shipping problems.

   Rush jobs may require a deposit and/or a higher hourly rate.
   Storage fees may apply if payment is seriously delayed once a job is complete or if an item is not picked up in a reasonable time frame.
DO NOT SHIP anything to us without our knowledge.
After completion: Free adjustments, if necessary, will be made up to 15 days after picking up or receiving the instrument, or as negotiated.
   Making further adjustments might incur fees if inspection reveals work has been performed by another party or damage has occurred.
   Once 30 days have passed since a buyer has taken repossession of an instrument, any further work is at the usual rate, possibly negotiated.
   If an instrument is returned the cost of transport in one direction may be negotiable depending on the reason for additional work.

SPECIAL NOTE: If a customer is not within proximity to easily deliver—or especially—to be able to pickup an instrument—be aware we will ship only if the customer arranges for shipping and has a high quality ATA road case.
WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND PERSONAL DROP OFF AND ESPECIALLY PICKUP, RATHER THAN SHIPPING, WHICH CAN BE VERY RISKY.

Preferred payment methods are PayPal*, verifiable U.S. cashier checks or U.S. money orders. Personal checks, and business checks will delay pickup or shipment 7 to 10 business days. (Any oddity in payment may delay pickup/shipment.)
• Cash or instantly funded PayPal or money orders are required when picking up in person if advance payment has not been sent.

*We are happy to accept PayPal but a small charge is added to the final costs to cover the PayPal fee. The charge is generally around 3% of the total. Do not send PayPal without our knowledge. It is not accepted at any of the email addresses shown on this site.

Sorry, we do not accept credit cards.
• Ohio buyers will pay 6.75% sales tax, due with the final payment.
• Buyers pay all shipping and handling costs and are responsible for arrangements and providing a road case.
• We are happy to work with customers outside of the U.S. but only accept PayPal or Western Union.
