Check
out this pair of very special Fender Rhodes Stage 88s for the band
Keane.
They look like a Rhodes, they sound like a Rhodes (sometimes) but wait—take
a closer look.
We gutted two Stage 88s and made serious modifications so they could contain
Yamaha S90s. Also replaced the case hardware, re-tolexed the cases
and mounted the S90s digital pedal so it can be triggered by the Rhodes
analog pedal.
They also have custom made solid stainless steel legs which are super heavy
duty so no brace is required.
The tops of the harp covers have been modified to securely accommodate
a Nord Lead 3.
